Birth Preparation Therapy

It really is important to let Mother Nature guide your journey into labour. What we can do though, is create a safe environment, relax the body both physically and emotionally, to allow your hormones to do their job. We can then stimulate key pressure points to encourage the body's natural birth preparation.

This treatment uses a blend of essential oils tailored to suit you, with a purpose to encourage Mother Nature. Consisting of a back, neck and shoulder massage to relax and calm the nervous system, stimulating pressure points on the meridians, followed by reflexology of the feet to activate and encourage hormones to flow more easily. 

Recommended to have at least 3 treatments, each 3-4 days apart. If you go into labour before using all the treatments in your package, you can choose to have a postnatal massage or reflexology.

Birth Partner Support Session

Being a birth partner means being an invaluable source of strength and encouragement. Bringing massage therapy to your birth environment will dramatically enhance your support skills.

Learn and practice crucial massage techniques and pressure points that will support mum through her labour journey. Whether used as an excellent pain reliever, to encourage progress in labour, or to calm anxiety, you will be shown how to adapt your techniques to suit mum's position and behaviour through out her birth.

Discover a selection of essential oils that are key to childbirth and learn which to blend for different purposes. You will be receive an aromatherapy kit with five essential oils, a carrier oil, a sniffy pot, a birth comb, and a washcloth.

The oils and massage techniques can be used throughout the latent and established phases of labour, you will be given a guide to support you through the latent phase right through to baby's arrival.

Come and practice some breathing and relaxation techniques with some mindful hypnobirthing practice sessions. Running monthly, we will have some time to connect in with ourselves and with each other before settling down to some beautifully relaxing meditation.

Suitable in all trimesters, this is a safe space to escape anxiety and overthinking, explore your fears and find ways to release whats no longer needed
